We stopped at McDonalds in Cranbrook, BC at noon today, in need of restrooms, coffee and a salad. It was a very sleek place; no playland, a fireplace and even a meeting room.
The menu included good stuff that we can't get in our neighborhood. A spicy Thai salad, for one thing, a mediterranian salad for another, and best of all, angus burgers.
The salads must be really good. They were all sold out of them. I had the angus burger, and it may have been the best burger I've ever had. Grilled angus patty on a ciabatta roll, red onion, romaine and tomato. Perfect! Mickey D's in Banff has the same menu.
C'mon McDonalds, we deserve the good stuff in the States, too
